A mí me gustaría hacer un poquito de la historia de mi formación pasada. Antes de venir a trabajar a la empresa en la cual yo estoy actualmente, yo he sido por casi 20 años oficial de la marina de guerra del Perú. Esto ha hecho que mi experiencia esté orientada a que cuando yo establezco una negociación con alguna persona, generalmente aborde el tema directamente y no haga lo que en muchos otros casos se hace que es tratar de familiarizarse con la persona con la que voy a empezar a conversar un tema específico. Por eso es que mi técnica de negociación en cualquier caso generalmente está orientada a dirigirme lo antes posible al punto que es el tema que yo quiero tratar.

I would like to tell you a little of my former training. Before coming to the company where I now work, for nearly 20 years I was an official in the Peruvian navy. This has caused that my experience be oriented in a way that when I get into some negotiation with someone, generally I bring up the topic directly and I don't do what you see in most other cases, which is try to familiarize yourself with the person that you are going to talk to about a specific subject. It is for this reason that my negotiation style in any case will generally be directed towards my being direct and to the point as soon as possible about the topic that I want to deal with.
