Türkiye’de iş gőrüşmelerinde konuya hemen girilmez. Őnce havadan sudan bahsedilir, aileden bahsedilir, futboldan bahsedilir,uzun siyaset tartışmaları yapılır. Bu arada çaylar içilir, yemekler yenilir, ondan sonra konuya girilir. Konuya girildiği zaman da temel konularda çok fazla durulmaz. Yapariz, ederiz, hallederiz gibi ifadelerle işlem bitirilir. İki taraf da olayın kendi istediği gibi olduğunu zanneder, ama iş tam anlamıyla olmaz, halledilmez. Bu tabii ki çok uygun bir metod değil ve bir çok sıkıntıya yol açmakta ama yine de genel olarak kullanılan metod bu.

People do not start the main topic right away in job interviews in Turkey. First of all, they talk about the weather, family, soccer and have long political debates. Meanwhile, they drink tea, eat food and then start talking about the main topic. When they start it, they do not however deal so much with the details. They end the talk with expressions such as “We will do/ handle/ fix it.” Both sides think that the issue was handled as they desired, but it never is handled completely. It is naturally not an appropriate method and causes a number of problems, yet this is the method used in general.
