English

Yeah, uh, about this part, in fact, in Taiwan or China, well, I don’t know about China, but Taiwan actually stresses this kind of thing pretty heavily. So, when you are a more high-ranking manager, or more of a professional, they’ll actually let you have a more, uh, a more private, uh, a more unique space for your use. This represents perhaps your position, or your professional skill. Now, taking this, a typical company, as an example, then generally, then most of these companies will have some private rooms that probably are closer to the windows. To let many, um, these are probably more likely to be high-ranking managers, to let them have this kind of place that probably has a better setting. As for the other staffers and volunteers, they’re probably placed more in more interior locations. And there, they probably, um, sit all together. And this, of course, facilitates discussions and such. And this is, this is, probably is, um, a typical company. And in a typical, more professional field, like a school or a hospital, things are actually done in this way too. That is to say, a professor or a doctor or whatever, they’ll let them have a private office to let them do their own research or pursue their own studies. In this kind of office, it’s harder for other people to disturb them. And they’ll set some, like, probably set some office hours to let other people know what times they are available for a visit, or when someone can come ask them questions. At other times, they probably have to make an appointment. If you want, want to come by, you have to first arrange a time. And they won’t, they won’t wait for you there forever. So, this is probably, in these kinds of different settings, [people] really stress these couple of issues of expertise and leadership.
