Americans…generally Chinese people think that Americans are in a perpetual state of bustling and hurrying. On this point I think we need to make distinctions for the discussion. In places like Wall Street, and with all the white-collar types, they are extremely busy and in a hurry. Yet in places like Hawaii and other such vacation destinations, the people are definitely not in a hurry. They are more focused on the quality of life, and the quality of their jobs. I think that most Chinese people think Americans, when at their job, are extremely busy and focused on efficiency. I feel that there is a need to look at individual cases (rather than generalizing).
