そうですね、あのう、まあ、ご承知のように、会社の目的っていうのは利潤の追求だと思っています。ただその追求の仕方が問題で、勿論法律にふれたり、一般の、一般的な商道徳に関することはもう厳に慎しむべきだいうことは当然で、また投資家っていうか株主に対してですね、適正な配当を与えていくということが、その経営幹部が果たさければならない責任だと思っています。

As you know, the purpose of a business is the pursuit of profit. Still, the problem is the way in which this pursuit is carried out. Of course this deals with the law, but in general—generally—to follow a virtuous path to doing business, it is natural that one should strictly be careful, and I think that regarding investors or stockholders, the executive management must carry out his/her duty and give the proper allotment.
