Mi experiencia tanto como estudiante como profesional, es verdad que los americanos tienen una gran preocupación por lo que puede pasar a el nivel legal. Conozco un poco los términos legales que hay en Estados Unidos pero ni la aproximación que me han hecho las personas que conozco son más. Puedes hacer lo que quieras, mientras cargues con la responsabilidad de lo que has hecho. Y esta responsabilidad no se diluye a lo largo del tiempo sino sigue siendo responsable de tu trabajo; con lo cual es difícil asumir los riesgos sin estar encubierto por documentos, sin tener una documentación firmada y escrita diciendo que es lo que se ha hecho por cargo del cliente, lo que se ha hecho por cargo de la propiedad, y pudiendo distinguir cual es la responsabilidad, de quien es la responsabilidad, si es de la persona que ha hecho un proyecto en general o de la persona que lo ha comprado.

My experience both as a student and as a professional is that it is true that Americans are very concerned about what could happen legally. I know a little of legal terms that there are in the United States but it doesn’t come close to what other people who I know have done. You can do what you want as long as you take the responsibility for what you have done. And this responsibility doesn’t decrease as time goes on, but rather you continue to be responsible for your work; that’s why it is difficult to take on a risk without being covered by documents, that is without having written and signed documents saying what has been done by the client and what’s been done under the owner’s responsibility, whose responsibility it is, if it is the person who made the project in general or if it is the person who as bought it.
