The straightforward and intuitive attitudes among Americans are usually considered positive in the U. S. But I think, um, there are instances where that kind of attitude is not accepted. I think there is a danger where the negotiation would fail if the Americans think that their way of thinking would work in other countries where they go to negotiate business. I do think one should research the country's culture and habits very well before visiting.
