Cuando yo doy un regalo, pues sí esperas que te lo agradezcan, o esperas un gesto de sorpresa o bueno casi siempre cuando das un regalo lo haces especialmente para esa persona. Lo compras o lo, o tu piensas que esa prenda o eso que estás tú regalando es especial para esta persona. Entonces tú estás pendiente de la expresión que te va a hacer. Y yo lo único que espero es un gesto de agradecimiento o un gesto de sorpresa, no necesariamente que me tengan que regresar otro regalo igual.

When I give a gift, well yes you hope that they thank you for it or you hope that they are surprised or well almost always when you give a gift you do it especially for that person. You buy it... or you think that this gift or that one that you are giving is special for that person. So you are aware of the way that they will react to it. For me the only thing I expect is for a thank you and for the person to be surprised, but not necessarily that they have to buy me another similar gift.
