Bueno, el "usted" yo generalmente lo uso para gente mayor, o para gente que le tengo cierto respeto porque no la conozco mucho. Y cuando se habla de "tú" es... tus amistades, tus amigos, o gente joven que aunque sea la primera vez que los ves, pero sientes la confianza de hablarle de "tú" no es de no tanta formalidad.

Well, "usted" I generally use it with older people, or with people for whom I have a certain respect or because I don't know them well. And when you talk about "tú" it is... your associates, your friends, or younger people who even though it is the first time that you see them that you feel comfortable is using "tú" with them because it isn't so formal.
