Genellikle işimizi yaparken őzellikle őzel hayatımıza biraz karıştırırız, biz Turkiye’deki yaşayan insanlar olarak. Çünkü daha sıcak kanlı insanlarız. Iş hayatımızda tam bir profosyonel gibi davranıp orda kesip gőrüşmelerimizi bırakamayız, hatta çoğu zaman ülke dışından gelen misafirlerimiz buna çok şaşırırlar. Biz onlara iş gőrüşmelerimiz bittikten sonra akşam da eşlik ederiz. Onlarla gezeriz, hatta turistik yerleri gezeriz.Onlar da: sizin işiniz gucünüz yok mu? Biz sizi bırakalım, yani hadi gidin, rahatsız olmayın derler. Bizde ise zevk halindedir onu ağırlama őzel hayatımıza, hatta ailemizle çoğu zaman yemek yeriz beraber gelen misafirlerimizle. Dolayısıyla iş ve őzel hayat karışır. Ama ben Avrupa’ya gittiğimde farklı olabiliyor. 12 ye kadar gőrüşmem varsa, 12 den sonra ordaki insan bana gőrüşürüz dediğinde ben akşama kadar kendim vakit geçirebiliyorum. Türkiye içersindeki ilişkiler de bu şekildedir. Bütün insanlar iş ve őzel hayatını birlikte devam ettirirler. Iş arkadaşı aynı zamanda akşam bara gittiği bir arkadaşıdır genellikle.

In general, as people who live in Turkey, as we do our business, we especially mix it with our private lives a bit. Because, we are a more warm blooded people. We cannot halt our meetings at a certain point suddenly as professionals do; and even most of the time our guests from abroad are surprised with this. We accompany them in the evening after we finish our business meetings. We go with them to do sightseeing to see touristic places. And they say “Don’t you have to be doing anything else? You can leave us so that we don’t have to bother you.” Yet, for us it is a pleasure to treat our guests that way. We eat food with him, together with our family and without considering our private life. Therefore, business and private life mix together. However, when I go to Europe, it might be different. If I have a meeting until 12, after 12, when those people say “See you later,” I can spend time on my own. The relations in Turkey are like this in general. Everyone combines his private and business life. In general a person’s colleague is a friend with whom he goes to the bar.
