OK, respecto a esto, yo considero, no es que no sea apropiado o no recibir o entregar regalos a alguien que trabaja contigo, pero creo que sí se da. Y particularmente yo creo que en Perú se estila hacerlo cuando la persona se está yendo del país de trabajo a otro lugar. Entonces normalmente a la gente le gusta, bueno hacer de repente una colecta, poner entre varias personas algún dinero y comprar un bonito regalo para la persona que se está yendo. O por ejemplo, si mi jefe se va yo podría regalarle algo a mi jefe. Normalmente la persona que recibe los regalos se debe sentir muy halagada, es lo que ocurre acá; muy contenta de recibir esos regalos. Y no es digamos algo que se vea mal, evidentemente. Si yo a mi jefe todas las semanas le traigo un regalo, eso no es lógico ni normal, ni tampoco se ve bien.

OK, in respect to this, I think, it's not that it's not appropriate to give or receive gifts with someone that works with you, but I do believe that gifts are given. And especially in Peru I believe that it is common to do it when people are leaving the country to go work somewhere else. So normally people like it and well they get a collection of some money from various people and they buy a nice gift for the person who is going away. Or for example, if my boss is going away, I could buy something for my boss. Normally the person who receives the gift feels grateful, this is how it happens here. And people are happy to receive these gifts. And it obviously isn't anything that is thought of as bad. Now if I brought my boss some gift every week this wouldn't be logical or normal, nor would it be well received.
