Yo considero que si uno está haciendo una conversación con una persona del Perú existen tres temas que me parecería que a mí en particular y a muchos peruanos les incomodaría tocar y principalmente porque consideramos que estos temas son situaciones que se presentan en el momento pero que no reflejan la realidad de la sociedad peruana. El primer tema que yo trataría de evitar en una conversación de ese tipo es el asunto del terrorismo. El otro tema que definitivamente no tocaría es el tema del tráfico de drogas y finalmente el problema de la corrupción en las oficinas del gobierno. Porque los tres temas creo yo, que los peruanos hemos identificado como cosas que se deben solucionar y en lo que estamos trabajando desde hace bastante tiempo.

believe that if you are having a conversation with a person from Peru that there are three topics that would seem to me and to many other Peruvians that we wouldn't feel comfortable talking about and especially because we think of them as situations that come up but do not reflect the reality of what Peruvian society is. The first topic that I would try to avoid in a conversation would be the subject of terrorism. The other topic that I definitely wouldn't get into would be that of drug traffic and finally the problem of corruption in government offices. These are three topics that I believe we Peruvians have identified as things that need to be taken care of and we have been working on them for a long time now.
