Anteriormente los antiguos mexicanos trabajaban por jornadas, les llamaban jornaleros, en donde empezaban en la madrugada, vamos a decir 5:00, 6:00 de la mañana, terminaban a las 2:00 de la tarde se iban a comer de 2:00 a 3:00 de la tarde, entraban a las 3:00 de la tarde y seguían hasta que el sol se ponía muchas veces más tarde que eso, posiblemente a las 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, o 10:00 de la noche, haciendo estas unas jornadas interminables, eso era anteriormente. En la actualidad, el mexicano ya tiene horarios muy establecidos de acuerdo al sistema moderno, ¿A qué me refiero? Ya hay sistemas laborales en donde trabajan 8 horas y tienen descansos. Hay sistemas también en donde tienen jornadas inglesas, que trabajan 5 días y descansan 2. Pero por naturaleza al mexicano le gusta mucho trabajar. Desafortunadamente, no hay muchos incentivos en México. Por eso es que el mexicano utiliza parte de ese tiempo de trabajo en divertirse, como ir al fútbol, como ir a la corrida de toros, y otros lugares en donde puede tener un poco de diversión.

It used to be that Mexicans worked in shifts and they were called "jornaleros" where they began in the morning, like at 5:00, 6:00 in the morning, they would finish as 2:00 in the afternoon and they would eat from 2:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon, they would go back at 3:00 in the afternoon and they would continue working until the sun would go down, some times even later, possibly 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, or 10;00 o'clock at night, completing these never-ending shifts. That was before. Currently Mexicans have schedules that are more in line with modern systems. What am I referring to? There are now labor systems where they work 8 hours and have breaks. There are also systems where people have English Schedules, they work 5 days and rest 2. But by nature Mexicans like to work. Unfortunately there are not many incentives to do so. For this reason Mexicans use part of their day to have fun, like going to a soccer game, or going to a bull fight, and other places where they can have a little fun.
