えっと私の仕事では、書類の場合はだいたい８０パーセントぐらいが英語です。で、話す、話したりする場合は、そうですね、だいたい三分の一ぐらいが英語だと思います。というのは、私の仕事は、海外の大学の方々やそれから学生の方々とコミュニケーションすることがほとんですので、Eメール、それから手紙、ファックスは、ほとんどが英語です。ですから、英語を使う機会がたくさんあります。また、そういう人達に会う時はもちろん英語を使いますし、例えば、ミーティングの中で一人だけ日本語がわからずに、わからない人がいる場合は、もう必ず英語でのディスカッションをするようにしています。日本人のスタッフだけでいる時は日本語を使いますけども、他は全部英語を使うって言っていいと思います。

Therefore, I have a lot of opportunities to use English. And, when I see those people, of course I use English. At meetings, for example, when there is just one person who does not understand Japanese, then by all means I try to discuss things in English. When I am with only Japanese staff, I use Japanese, but I think it is accurate to say that I use English at almost all other times.
