English

OK, basically, when you have a business meeting in China, people will basically follow the meeting’s agenda to engage in, to engage in discussion. Especially during meetings, meetings where an executive is present, or where the meeting is more important, or where the meeting touches on more crucial issues. Of course, that is, that’s not to say that, if the participants in the meeting, [if] everybody is pretty familiar with one another, if their relationships are pretty good, then, if the issues aren’t so crucial, [aren’t very] urgent or important, they won’t shoot the breeze a little, chat about some topics that they all have in common. [They might] talk about what’s been going on lately, or some hot topic. So, basically, business meetings in China can still follow an agenda.
