ええ、はい、私も今はそう思います。学歴、日本はやっぱり学歴を重視する国かなと。最近、学歴は関係ないという風潮もありますが、基本的にはやはりいい学校を出た方がいいという、これはどちらかというと親になった人々が考える傾向にあるかと思っています。いい学校さえ出ればまあ何とかなる、もしくは箔がつくですね、そういうところがまだまだ根強く残っているのかなと。あと、会社においては「学閥」というものがありまして、同じ学校を出た人を重宝がると、ええ何て言うんですかね、好んで使うっていう傾向もまだまだ残っていると思います。そういう意味では、学校という単位の考え方っていうのはまだあるかなと考えています。ただ、これからどんどん人口が減っていくに従って、このへんも崩れていくんではないかなと個人的には予想していきますけれども、まだまだ日本人のブランド志向というのが高いので、学歴というのはまだ残るのではないかという具合に考えています、はい。

Well, these days, I think so too. Academic background, Japan is a country that places a lot of importance on education. Lately, there is a trend where education does not matter. Yet, you'll see that basically speaking, it is better to graduate from a good school. I feel those who have become parents tend to think that way. If you have at least graduated from a good school, you will manage somehow or look good. These views still remain deeply. And in companies, there are still "academic cliques" and those who have graduated from the same school, how can I put it, there's still a tendency to employ those people. In that sense, I think the way of thinking based on your school still continues. However, as the population decreases more and more, I personally suspect that this will die out. I believe that because the Japanese are still fairly brand conscious and so one's educational history will continue to be important, yes.
