Bueno, referente a este tema es, cuando tuve mis primeros años como empleado, tuve algunas sugerencias: No hables de política, no hables de mujeres, no hables de cualquier tema en el cual puedas involucrar a las personas. En pocas palabras me dijeron "habla de deportes." Era algo muy irracional, ¿no? Hablar de religión es también un punto que no se debe de considerar. Hablar de economía, sí es un tema muy interesante, y siempre la persona que habla mucho de economía, cómo está el país, cómo están las relaciones con el mundo. Entonces las cosas sí más bien presentan un mejor carácter, una mejor característica de la persona. La gente la prefiere, escuchar hablar de estas cosas, hablar de deportes, hablar de economía, hablar del país, de cómo está el mundo, pero no hablar de mujeres, no hablar de religión que puede causar algunos problemas.

Well regarding this topic, in my first years as an employee, I was given some suggestions: Don't talk about politics, don't talk about women, don't talk about anything in which you might involve the people. Basically they were saying, "talk about sports." It was something very irrational. Talking about religion is another topic which you shouldn't consider talking about. Talking about the economy is a very interesting subject, about how the country is doing and how the relationships are with the rest of the world. Then these things do show a better character about the person. People prefer this, to listen about these subjects, talk about sports, talk about the economy, talk about the country, about how the world is, but don't talk about women, don't talk about religion which might cause some problems.
