えっと、フォーマルな場面、例えば講演をしたりとか、それからお客さまがいらっしゃっている時っているのは、必ず敬語を、その方が年下とわかる場合でも敬語を使うと思います。えっと、インフォーマルな場面では、例えばすごく簡単なミーティングですとか、あとオフィスの中っていうのは、年上の方には敬語を使いますけども、同僚とかもしくは年下の人っていうのには敬語を使わずに普通の言葉でしゃべります。で、オフィスの中では、できるだけ上司に対しては敬語を使うようにはしていますけども、話が、あのう、もう日常的にコミュニケーションとってるので、敬語ではなくて徐々に普通の言葉になっていったりとかしますけれども、基本的にはお願いをしたりとかする場合っていうのは敬語を使いますし、できるだけ敬語を使うように心がけているという感じです、はい。

Well, in formal occasions, such as having a lecture or having a guest, I think we definitely use the honorific forms even when the other person is obviously younger. Well, in informal occasions, such as during simple meetings or in the office, we use the honorifics toward the elders, yet toward those who are colleagues or younger, we talk normally without using the honorifics. In the office, we try to use the honorifics toward our superiors as much as possible. However, since we communicate on a daily bases, we gradually start talking normally (even toward to our superiors), not using the honorifics. Basically, we use the honorifics in cases like making a request, and we are inclined to use the honorifics as much as we can.
