Utilizamos generalmente el "usted" cuando no hay mucho grado de confianza entre el entrevistador y el entrevistado, ¿no? Por ejemplo entrevistamos a una persona que no conocemos mucho, a un político, etc. Y utilizamos el "tú" cuando tenemos cierto grado de confianza entre nosotros, entre amigos, en las relaciones informales, familiares, compañeros, etc.

We generally use "usted" when there isn't a high level of familiarity between the interviewer and the interviewee, right? For example, if we interview a person that we don't know very well, a politician, etc. And we use "tú" when there is a certain level of familiarity among us, among friends, in informal or family relationships, with companions, etc.
